Overview
At Moonkat, we’re on a mission to make Web3 safer and more accessible for beginners. As blockchain scams skyrocketed between 2021 and 2022, my team and I saw the urgent need for stronger protection. That’s why we created an anti-scam browser extension designed to keep users safe. Before any wallet interaction takes place, Moonkat provides a clear preview of potential asset changes—empowering users to spot scams, phishing attempts, and malicious attacks before they happen. Web3 is full of exciting possibilities, but it also comes with risks. Moonkat exists to protect your assets and help you navigate the decentralized world with confidence.

We simulate the actual outcome of a transaction before users approve it, helping them identify suspicious or fraudulent activity before confirming it in their wallet. This is crucial in ensuring that users can make informed decisions without the fear of being scammed. By previewing the transaction's impact, users gain a clear understanding of potential risks, allowing them to make choices that align with their security preferences.
Moreover, users don’t need to comprehend complex smart contract codes to evaluate the safety of their transactions. The system handles the intricacies of code evaluation, offering an easy-to-understand summary of what the transaction entails. This proactive protection effectively prevents scams by alerting users to any red flags before they commit to a transaction. As a result, users can navigate the Web3 space with confidence and peace of mind.
Additionally, this approach significantly reduces the learning curve and the time required to enter the Web3 space. By simplifying the process, more individuals can participate in decentralized finance and other blockchain technologies without needing extensive technical knowledge. This accessibility opens up new opportunities for people who might have been hesitant due to the perceived complexity of blockchain transactions, fostering greater adoption and innovation in the digital economy.

Beyond technical analysis, our community-driven reporting system empowers users to contribute by identifying and flagging high-risk smart contracts. This collaborative approach continuously enhances and expands our smart contract risk database, allowing us to better detect and prevent fraudulent activities.
