Overview

Offerland is committed to creating a platform for overseas study and work exchange. Here, users can share their application experiences and processes to help others who wish to apply for programs in countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, or even across Europe. Initially, after the outsourced designer completed the website, I joined the team to lead the optimization of the visual presentation of information on the pages, design user flows, create new feature pages, and continually improve the user experience based on periodic user interviews. As a result of continuous optimization efforts, the platform now has a stable user base each month, with users browsing, adding new test scores, and sharing their application results.

THE PROBLEM

Users are unable to stay on our website longer due to the visual inefficiency of the presented information.

A series of information is presented incompletely.

The majority of the website's users access it from mobile devices, but the previous design did not take mobile usage into consideration, resulting in excessive wasted space and making it inconvenient for users to browse information on mobile.

Therefore, a design optimized for mobile devices is essential and needs to be completed as soon as possible to ensure a more comfortable browsing experience for users.

Excessive whitespace takes up too much space.

It is difficult to read on mobile devices.

Unimportant information is too prominent, while important information is not noticeable enough.
